In "Melyssa Web," a mirrored installation of sorts, I invite viewers to immerse themselves in a world of deception and longing, where the lines between reality and fantasy blur. A tangled web of relationships and desires, this exhibition features a collection of photographs that explore the complexities of human connection and the subtle art of deception. Pose, posed and provocative, the subjects in these images seem to be engaging in a game of cat and mouse, their faces hidden behind masks of vulnerability. The images are a critique of the societal norms that dictate the way we present ourselves to the world, and the ways in which we conceal our true selves from others. As the title suggests, the work is a reflection of the "big, paw-gon" that lies beneath the surface, a reminder that even the most seemingly perfect facades can be hiding secrets.
